Biography

Anna Price is the Head of Researcher Development at Queen Mary University of London, where she heads a team working with PhD students and research staff at the university on their professional and career development.  Prior to working in researcher development, Anna originally trained as a biological scientist, studying the genetics of wallflower development for her PhD at Cardiff University, before changing field to biomedical science and working on various aspects of cancer biology for her post-doctoral research.  Anna maintains an interest in research alongside her researcher development role and is involved in projects looking at academic career progression and academic leadership as well as this project exploring the professional identities of researcher developers.
