Biography

Carole Chapin holds a Doctorate in comparative literature. During 5 years, she has been a junior researcher and teacher in several universities both in France and abroad, where she was always committed in activities related to the evolution of policies and practices regarding human resources in Higher Education and Research. She was involved in national and international associations of early career researchers, elected in the academic council of her university (Sorbonne Nouvelle) and a referent for gender equality (Universite de Picardie Jules Verne). In 2015, she moved towards new research interests as she joined the team of the company Adoc Mètis, where she is an R&D manager in charge of a research project on the implementation of human resources strategy for researchers in French Universities. She is also collaborating in Adoc Mètis research projects on doctoral supervision. Besides, she is providing training for PhD candidates and supervisors to Adoc Mètis' clients : universities and research organisms in France.
