Biography

Dr Christiane Wuellner gained her Ph. D in Biology and worked at the interface between biology and medicine during her postdoc. After maternity leave she moved to science management, was involved in several applications for third-party money and in the coordination of different scientific projects. Since 2006 she has been part of the team developing RUB Research School, which was transferred to a permanent institution of Ruhr University Bochum in 2012. Now she is the executive director of the institute RUB Research School as well as of Research School PLUS, an integrated new project funded by Germany`s Excellence Initiative. Furthermore she is member of different national and international advisory boards and involved in review processes for doctoral programmes.
