Biography
Dawn joined the Entrepreneurial Development Unit at Newcastle University in 2013 and leads on the development and delivery of entrepreneurial skills programmes across the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Working closely with academic staff across all disciplines and programmes, Dawn maintains a strong interest in the postgraduate training agenda and is currently working with Careers Advisers and the academic postgraduate researcher development team to embed enterprise and entrepreneurship training and development into the core programme.
Since moving to Newcastle in 2003 Dawn has worked across the universities of the North East, managing two regional HEFCE funded curriculum development projects: the Life, Work Art project and the CETL for Music and Inclusivity. She has lectured on programmes related to Music, Fine Art and Entrepreneurship at Newcastle University and at Durham University, where she gained her PhD in Music and Entrepreneurship.
