Ele’s role at Queen Mary University of London is to support and promote the career development of life scientists as part of the Life Sciences Initiative, a multi-disciplinary virtual institute aiming to translate scientific advances to improve healthcare, locally nationally and internationally. Prior to this role Ele worked at the Wellcome Trust in the Grants Management department. This followed a period of doctoral and post-doctoral research at Imperial College London in bacterial pathogenesis.
