Educational Developer

Eli is currently an Educational Developer at University of Liverpool. She is primarily focused on development of post-graduate researchers (PGR) and graduate teaching assistants (GTA). She is the programme lead for the GTA training programme, leading to recognition as Associate Fellow of the HEA. She also has a keen interest in the development of academic writing practice among PGR students.
Prior to taking up this post one year ago, Eli spent 8 years at Aberystwyth University as a Teaching Fellow and Post-doctoral Researcher in Animal Behaviour and Animal Nutrition.
Eli completed her PhD in Ecology from University of Illinois in 2008. She has recently gone back to school, starting on an MA in HE with University of Liverpool where the focus is on Postgraduate Researcher Development.
