Biography

Dr Judith Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Manchester Medical School and Head of Training within her Faculty. Judith designs and delivers education, research and generic skills training for postgraduate students through to senior academics. In 2011 she was awarded the University of Manchester Distinguished Achievement Medal for Teacher of the year and in 2009 she was short listed for the National Times Higher Award for Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers. Judy is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Coordinator of the North West Hub of Vitae. Since 2012 Judith has been working in partnership with organisations across Africa to enhance the research and generic skills development of researchers and health care practitioners.
