Biography 

Lucy's interest in researcher development began through her time as a research molecular biologist in Aberdeen and Glasgow. Working closely with Vice Principals and colleagues across each of the Colleges and Administrative Services, Lucy is responsible for ensuring that training provision complements internal strategies, and is aligned to research council expectations and the national agenda championed by Vitae. Lucy played a pivotal role in elevating the University of Aberdeen to a centre of excellence for public engagement through Research Council UK's Catalysts initiative, by embedding researcher development and engagement into one cohesive approach. Lucy is also the Scotland and Northern Ireland Vitae representative.
