Biography
Following the completion of her PhD, Sara worked as a research associate in the Cardiff School of Social Sciences on a series of research projects relating to education, training, and employability. In December 2002 she took up her current post in Cardiff University's Human Resources Directorate as Training and Development Manager, with responsibility for the development of academic staff development initiatives relating to research. Sara was a founder member of UKHERD (now the Vitae Research Staff Development Advisory Group (ReSDAG)) and, along with other Taskforce members, worked closely with colleagues in UK GRAD and CRAC on the development of the Vitae programme. She is a member of ReSDAG and sits on the Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) steering group.
