Biography
Dr Victoria Sedman completed her PhD in 2006 at The University of Nottingham’s School of Pharmacy. She then spent four years as a postdoctoral researcher continuing her research into peptide self-assembly for the generation of novel biomaterials on a pan-European mobility EU FP6 research grant. In January 2010, she successfully bid for a short-term fellowship as an EPSRC ‘The Logistics of Small Things’ Fellow.
In September 2010, Victoria changed her career direction and joined the Graduate School at Nottingham as a Researcher Training and Development Manager. Her portfolio includes convening the Graduate School’s Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty based training provision for postgraduate research students, research staff specific activities and managing several research and mobility funding awards for researchers. Victoria has recently been selected as one of the 19 external peer reviewers for the UK HR Excellence in Research award.
