Biography

Research and research capacity building in Africa could thrive through establishment of a culture of organised research communities for academics and practitioners. Having spent 4 years abroad on study leave, Loice returned to Uganda in 2017 from her PhD studies at the University of Sheffield, UK with an experience of a holistic approach to researcher development for research effectiveness and impact. She then spent 5 years in Uganda lecturing but also involved in founding an interinstitutional network for researcher development and research products utilisation in Africa. She recently joined the University of Lincoln, UK as a lecturer of research methods.
