Emma has over seven years’ research administration and management experience and holds a primary degree in Public Administration, Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Masters in Business Management. She has experience of grant preparation and compiling budgets for national, international and European funding applications for a vast number of funding agencies. Over the last two years she has assisted with over 190 funding applications supporting Researchers at different levels from project concept, award negotiation, project management and final reporting. The funding application budgets ranged from €10 thousand to €13 million, engaging with multiple partners from industry and academia. Emma joined the AMBER team from the University of Limerick where she worked as EU Project Manager on a number of European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) Coordinated Projects in the areas of Energy, Health and Factories of the Future.
