Biography

Fiona Conway is a Teaching Fellow within the Organisational and Staff Development Unit (OSDU) where she is focused on supporting staff in Knowledge Exchange. She is currently designing bespoke Knowledge Exchange professional development activities which will be a part of the SPARK Programme (both accredited and CPD). She also teaches modules in the accredited programme.
Prior to joining OSDU in March 2014, Fiona was a Teaching Fellow within Strathclyde Business School for 12 years. She taught a range of modules in hospitality and tourism and was laterally Director of Management Development (the faculty's flagship undergraduate programme).
Fiona is active in hospitality and tourism knowledge exchange through her position as President (Education) in FLIGHT Hospitality, an industry-education body who provide leadership in the development of experiential learning within the sector.
In addition to this, Fiona is currently undertaking a Doctor of Eduction (EdD) where her thesis study is focused on understanding leadership in Higher Education.
