Dr Fran Cardells

Fran Cardells (PhD) is a Subject Matter Expert in Data Analytics affiliated to the World Economic Forum, the European Commission and trusted by leading Fortune 500 companies and Business Schools. Fran focus is the Digital Economy and Society and Artificial Intelligence. He also runs a virtual Lab focused on proprietary Data & Analytics technologies (Machine Vision / Intelligent Navigation / Hyper-Scale Analytics / NLP).

Fran is a former Google Technologist. He pioneered Large-Scale Data Analytics at HP influencing 10 Google Patents, developing intellectual property and authoring several key research publications in IEEE, ACM and book chapters in Springer Nature. He also played a key role across data-centric businesses including Google Local and Einstein Analytics - Salesforce's suite of intelligent applications, shaping emerging technologies into cloud applications and internet services. 

Beyond work, Fran champions diversity and inclusion working with non-for-profits (Speakers for Schools), and underprivileged schools.

Fran is an Oxford/HEC Paris Alumni and is a recipient of a Marie-Curie Doctoral fellowship.
