Dr Ipshita Ghose

Biography

I am the Head of Research Strategy and Development for Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham. As an inclusive leader with over 12 years of cross-disciplinary experience in the research development and funding sector, I am passionate about creating a culture and environment that enables excellent research and supports everyone to thrive. In my current role, I work with senior leaders at the University, national and international funders in the R&I sector, and with community partners to develop and shape strategies for major research investment priorities in the Social Sciences.
