Biography

After 13 years of research and as a holder of a professorship in various French and American universities, she joined the Commission services in 1991 to deal first with a fellowship programme out of which the Marie-Curie fellowship programme has evolved. She worked in a policy unit where she drafted the first version of the ERA policy documents under Commissioner Busquin. She then joined the International Cooperation, worked for the Energy Department and moved to work again on ERA policy since 2007, taking care of the regional aspect of FP7, then she engaged in the marketing of the Joint Programming initiatives and has recently started working on ‘researchers’ policies.

She is now responsible for the implementation of the principles of the Human Resources Strategy taking up the principles of Charter and Code; she recently successfully organized the ‘10 years of Charter and Code Celebration’.
