James McMullan
Biography
James McMullan is a PhD researcher within the Nutrition Innovation for Food and Health at Ulster University. James has a BSc in Human Nutrition and is a Registered Associate Nutritionist. He is currently based within the Seychelles Child Development Study (SCDS), an international consortium seeking to explore the risks and benefits of fish consumption. His PhD aims to utilise data collected as part of the SCDS to examine the role of fish consumption in healthy ageing. James’s research interests include fish consumption in maternal and child health, nutrition in healthy ageing, long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and lipid metabolism.
