Kate Murray joined The Careers Group, University of London over 10 years ago and has worked at King’s College London since then.  Now Senior Careers Consultant, Kate is part of King’s new Centre for Research Staff Development, supporting research staff across King’s in their career decision-making.  Kate’s particular interest is in encouraging clients to think broadly about their potential and find and take up interesting opportunities to discover more about the world of work.  A recent project is www.kcldo1thing.com, encouraging researchers at King’s to do exactly that.  Kate’s background is in arts and heritage and she ran Shaw’s Corner for the National Trust for a number of years.
