Kathryn Arnold

Biography

Kathryn Arnold is Professor of Ecology at the Department for Environment and Geography and Dean of the York Graduate Research School at the University of York, UK. She leads the Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education which aims to widen access to postgraduate research for black, Asian and minority ethnic applicants. For 20+ years, she has been working at the intersection of science, policy and regulation. Her work focuses on the individual and population responses of wildlife to environmental and social perturbations. She has published across a range of journals and tweets @KateArnold14.
