Kirstein Rummery is Professor of Social Policy and co-director of the Centre on Gender and Feminist Studies. She undertook her PhD part time between 1996 and 2001. Her children were born in 1998, 2003 and 2005. Her research interests include gender, disability, comparative care policy and women’s political engagement.
