Lisa Thompson

Biography

Lisa Thompson is Doctoral Development Manager with the Doctoral College at Ulster University (2017-present) where she is responsible for the design and delivery of the Researcher Development Programme for PhD Researchers and the Supervisor Development Programme for PhD Supervisors at Ulster. She established and continues to lead the annual Festival of PhD Research at Ulster in 2018 and leads the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition. Lisa is the Northern Ireland representative for Vitae and was a member of the judging panel for the Vitae 3MT®. She works with several doctoral training partnerships and other collaborations across the UK and Ireland. Lisa has an LLM in Human Rights Law (Queen’s University Belfast) and an MBA (Ulster University).
