Lorna has gained her PhD in Archaeometallurgy from the University College London and has been working as a Research Fellow since 2012 at Brunel University London, diversifying her research within a multidisciplinary environment and including social sciences and arts as well as novel materials developments, mainly focussed to renewable energy devices. As well as developing her own research Lorna works in strict collaboration with other researchers within the University for her role of analytical techniques development and quality manager. The possibility of interacting with colleagues from other departments and at different career stage gives her a wide insight in academic career development as well as in the strict scientific research approach.
