Marie-Alix is a CHASE-funded doctoral student at the University of East Anglia (UEA), where she studies the figure of the single woman author in contemporary film. Broad research interests include: gender and the media, authorship and adaptation, intersectional feminism, but also, doctoral training and education. Her work has recently appeared in Alphaville: Journal of Film and Screen Media.
Marie-Alix is joining Vitae for a 6-months project exploring professional and career development for Arts & Humanities postgraduate researchers. The project will notably consider the significance of research context, training preferences, language, and identity, with a view to develop new resources to support and promote Arts and Humanities researchers’ professional development.
