Biography

Mathias Schroijen is a PhD candidate in health psychology (KU Leuven, Belgium) with a specific interest in respiratory perception and its relation with anxiety and panic disorders. Besides his research, Mathias is actively involved in doctoral training and career development services with a specific interest in mental health, intersectoral mobility and social entrepreneurship. Driven by these interests, he focuses on PhD community building at the local level (PhD Society), the construction of training and career development services at the Belgian level (Focus Research) and the representation of early career researchers at the European level (secretary of Eurodoc).
