Biography

Maya Boudiffa holds a PhD in Animal Biology and Physiology from the University of Saint Etienne, France. Her scientific interests are in exploring the non obvious roles of bone in health and disease. An early career researcher herself, She is dedicated to improving career paths for her fellow researchers. She volunteered in national and international organizations such as the BIOTechno network (transition to outside of academia) and the BIOVISION World Science Forum (Global challenges) for which she co-organized one day conferences that brought together talented young scientists from around the globe, facilitating networking and initiating collaborations. She is now chair of the media and communication subcommittee of the International Consortium of Research Staff Associations (ICoRSA) where, alongside other talented and dedicated members, she works towards improving early career researchers' paths at the global level.
