Biography
James Stroyan is a senior consultant with the Technopolis Group, and has spent more than 18 years working on the design, implementation and evaluation of publicly funded RTDI programmes and policies. He holds a BA (Hons) in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex (UK), and is trained in evaluation theory and in advanced statistical analysis. Over the past ten years he has managed more than 50 major evaluation studies and impact assessments for international and national clients including the European Commission, ESF, COST, BIS (UK), ESRC (UK), Tekes (FI), and Forfás (IE). James is currently managing the feasibility study for a new certification scheme to recognise genuinely good HR management in the public research sector, on behalf of DG RTD.
