Biography

Paul is employed in Organisational Development at Queen’s University Belfast, co-ordinating the range of professional and career development activities provided for research staff, including; staff induction, classroom based sessions; online materials and support for school based events.  He has been employed in this role since 2005 having worked in Queen’s since 1997.  As part of the programme he delivers workshops on the use of SPSS, project planning, presentation skills for researchers and public engagement.  Paul worked as a researcher at Queen’s in the Centre for Educational Development, investigating students and staff attitudes to higher education.  He has taught on research methods courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students and worked as a researcher in a number of public and private sector organisations.  During the past year he has facilitated a number of networking sessions as part of a University-wide initiative to support international staff.
