Biography 

ThinkWrite™ courses have grown out of Pete’s experience as a post-doctoral academic at UCL and then over 20 years working as a freelance science writer, prize-winning author and communications consultant.

Pete has led over 1000 courses on different aspects of writing, in the UK, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Norway.

After submitting his PhD thesis in just over three years, he has gone on to create an organised approach to writing large documents. Using this, he has authored and co-authored more than 30 papers, and written over 16 single-author books. Furthermore, this pace of work has not been at the expense of high standards – he has won six national awards for his writing and editing. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member the Association of British Science Writers, the Society of Authors. He is a former chair of theMedical Journalist’s Association and a former member of Toast Masters International. For more of Pete's work - visit his webpage.
