Biography
Chris is a member of the School of Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol. He is a developmental psychologist whose research examines children’s cognitive development, particularly the processes that underpin goal-directed behaviour and the maintenance of information in memory. After completing a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in 1990, and a PhD at the University of Sheffield in 1993, he spent time as a member of research staff at the University of Cambridge and then the University of Bristol. He took up a permanent position at the University of Bristol in 1998. At Bristol he currently serves as the Faculty Research Director for the Faculty of Science, and as Chair of the University’s Research Staff Working Party.
