Biography 

Etsuko Tanaka is a Designated Assistant Professor at Program for Leading Graduate Schools “PhD Professional: Gateway to Success in Frontier Asia” of Nagoya University in Japan. The main goal of the program is to foster young professionals with PhD to become a global leader.

Dr. Tanaka specializes in educational psychology. Especially she is conducting research on how to design classes, which deepen students’ interest in and understanding of learning contents. Regarding professional development, she is conducting research on how to improve 21st century skills including presentation skills and problem solving skills.
