Prof. James Daybell
Biography
James Daybell is Professor of Early Modern British History at the University of Plymouth and Associate Dean of Research and Impact in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business. His research includes the AHRC-funded project, Gendered Interpretations of Museums, the 6-year Swedish Research Council-funded project, Moved Apart: the Experience of Separation, 1500-1700, and is PI of the AHRC Impact Accelerator Account held by Plymouth. His expertise spans research, impact, public engagement and commercialisation, and he is a REF panellist. He is also Director of the public history podcast and brand Histories of the Unexpected with TV presenter and historian Dr Sam Willis.
