Biography

Dr Sharon Milner is Employability Development Manager at Ulster University and she has a particular interest in educational issues.  In her current role she provides course teams with strategic direction in embedding employability within their programmes of study, using EDORT, the employability toolkit she devised.  She manages the Ulster employability award (Ulster EDGE Award).  She leads the strategic career management development training of all doctoral students and contract researchers within Ulster.  For the past 7 years she has worked to disseminate employability good practice by hosting a national employability conference held annually at Ulster.  Sharon, a Chartered Psychologist continuously employed in the world of academia, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Centre for Higher Education and Research Practice at Ulster and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
