Shomari Lewis-Wilson

Shomari has a background in Clinical Neuroscience and is the Senior Manager of Wellcome’s Research Culture and Communities team. His long-term vision for research culture is that “everyone benefits from thriving research cultures and communities”, and he is working to ensure that Wellcome’s brand continues to be known for this as a partner and advocate. As a big fan of systems and design thinking, Shomari’s team is operationalising this vision across four key areas: evidence-gathering, decision-making, systems & processes and communities of practice. Outside of Wellcome, Shomari is the Co-Founder of the New Fables Collective and is a keen videogamer, runner and cyclist.
