Vani Naik

Biography

Vani Naik is motivated by making academia better for all. She does this through research consultancy on academic careers, as well as through being a Researcher Developer at Edinburgh Napier University, and a PhD on the lack of women engineering professors. She’s also on the committee for the Mentoring for Researcher Developers (M4RD) 2023 project after a fruitful mentoring pairing last year. Another interest is embedding and weaving Equality, Diversity and Inclusion throughout researcher development. In general, she loves connecting with others so please do say hello!
