Biography 

Yvonne is a qualified Librarian and worked in academic Libraries for twelve years, at the Universities of Nottingham, Birmingham and most recently Warwick where she started in 2009. In her current role as Scholarly Communications Manager, she has oversight over a range of scholarly communication activities as part of the Library's support for research, including open access, research data management, copyright, bibliometrics and publishing activities.

Yvonne has had an interest in intellectual property rights and access control to scholarly and research material since her bachelors degree and has previously worked in metadata development and production with a focus on multi-script cataloguing and cataloguing of rare and special collections.

Since 2012 Yvonne has served as the Chair of the United Kingdom Council for Research Repositories (UKCoRR) the professional organisation for UK open access repository administrators and managers and sit on the Jisc Scholarly Communications Advisory Group as part of these duties.
