IP for research events 2021

Following on from the success of the virtual Live lectures in the 2019-20 programme, Vitae and the IPO will again be offering free online live lectures within the 2020/21 programme. These events aim to increase the Intellectual Property (IP) knowledge and skills of doctoral and early career researchers and facilitate relationships within institutions to support the management and development of IP.

Connections: Getting to grips

Our annual professional development event for anyone who has recently taken on responsibility for supporting researchers in their professional development, whether as a full-time role or as a part-time activity.

Branching out with CEDARS: a practice sharing event

As we near the beginning of the benchmarking year for the Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) we invite members to come together to learn more about how CEDARS can support your institutional strategy and future planning, have the opportunity to discuss results of the 2020 CEDARS pilot with peers and share practice on engaging your researcher population with surveys.

The week of online activities will run from 7 to 10 September and will include live-streamed keynote presentations, small-group interactive and discussion sessions, our popular poster session and exhibition area reimagined for remote access, as well as the Vitae 3MT competition 2020 final, sponsored by Taylor & Francis.
