Vitae member forums 2021
-Continuing our annual programme theme of community conversation, we will be hosting a number of Vitae member forums in April, May and June covering a variety of topics and challenges relevant to the Vitae community. These forums will be an opportunity to meet and discuss with peers from across Vitae membership and will be of interest to those involved in or responsible for supporting the development of researchers.
Branching out with CEDARS: a practice sharing event
As we near the beginning of the benchmarking year for the Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) we invite members to come together to learn more about how CEDARS can support your institutional strategy and future planning, have the opportunity to discuss results of the 2020 CEDARS pilot with peers and share practice on engaging your researcher population with surveys.

Our annual professional development event for anyone who has recently taken on responsibility for supporting researchers in their professional development, whether as a full-time role or as a part-time activity.
IP for research events 2021
-Following on from the success of the virtual Live lectures in the 2019-20 programme, Vitae and the IPO will again be offering free online live lectures within the 2020/21 programme. These events aim to increase the Intellectual Property (IP) knowledge and skills of doctoral and early career researchers and facilitate relationships within institutions to support the management and development of IP.
Vitae festive networking 2020
This community-driven networking event is an opportunity for those who support the career and professional development of researchers to come together and reflect on events and learning from 2020, to make new connections and renew old ones. It will also be an opportunity to lift spirits and have a little fun at the end of what has been a difficult year for all.

Vitae Connections Week 2020
-Take part in Vitae Connections Week 2020 (#VitaeCon2020); a collection of live and pre-prepared opportunities for knowledge and practice sharing, networking and discussion among those with an interest in researcher development globally. The week of online activities will run from 14 to 17 September and will include live-streamed keynote presentations, small-group interactive and discussion sessions, our popular poster session and exhibition area reimagined for remote access, as well as the Vitae 3MT competition 2020 final, sponsored by Taylor & Francis.

Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2019
-This annual conference is the only dedicated event that brings together all those with a strategic and practical role in developing researchers. Last year's event saw over 400 participants from the UK and internationally, including pro-vice-chancellors, heads of faculty, heads of graduate schools, HR directors, careers advisors, staff developers and trainers.
