Exploration of the theme
This seminar will focus on the emergence of researcher development as a profession and the need to research into our own practice. Invited speakers will give perspectives on the impact that research into researcher development has had on their work and motivations for conducting research. Participants will be invited to discuss related topics, such as the barriers and opportunities to undertaking research as a researcher developer. Speaker include:

Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the changing landscape of researcher development, taking into account local to international influence. |

Open discussion of interests and priorities Participants are invited to help shape the Vitae programme for 2016/17 by discussing their interests and raising priority topics for consideration. This session will also include a recap of how members shaped the 2015/16 programme. |
