A1 - Exploring the certification of HR management of researchers across Europe
Day 1 at 14:00 - The European Commission has commissioned Technopolis to undertake the feasibility study: ‘Feasibility study for the development of a certification mechanism for genuinely good HR management in the public research sector in Europe'. This is a nine month project which aims to set out its findings by the end of 2013.
The study will start with the clarification of the concept of "good human resources management" in the public research sector and the identification of appropriate assessment criteria including among others open recruitment and excellent research. The study will also address the practical aspects of setting up the required system at European level, including the associated costs and benefits Strand - All Researchers (practice).

- hear more about the detailed plans for the feasibility study
- contribute their knowledge about existing quality standards for human resources
- explore the definition of ‘good human resources management' to underpin a certification process
- input their wider views on the aspects of the feasibility study.
