Exploration of the theme
This membership seminar will take a fresh look at the Vitae Researcher Development Framework and focus on its relevance to the development of competencies of an effective supervisor, including supervisor’s contributions to the career development of researchers for a diversity of careers. Invited speakers will give perspectives on the researcher development aspects of the supervisors’ role. Participants will work with the Vitae Researcher Development Framework to identify key competencies for the development of supervisors and have an opportunity to review Vitae’s new resources around developing the next generation. Open discussion of interests and priorities Participants are invited to help shape the Vitae programme for 2016/17 by discussing their interests and raising priority topics for consideration. This session will also include a recap of how members shaped the 2015/16 programme. |
