Exploration of the theme
Researcher Development: Five Years From Now The turbulent and changing research landscape within which we work can sometimes make it difficult to develop long-term strategies, take creative risks, and implement innovative approaches to researcher development. The overarching aim of the day is to provide a space in which to engage in long-term (and perhaps radical) thinking. The event will involve a series of thought-provoking discussions from Vitae, the Research Capability Team at Coventry University and others to initiate thinking about the opportunities, issues, and priorities facing Researcher Development over the next five years. An Open Space Workshop will follow these provocations in which participants will have the opportunity to engage in creative and free thinking about how to design and develop new and innovative approaches to supporting research careers and researcher development. |
