Book your place now

Vitae is pleased to invite member HEIs to the Scotland & Northern Ireland member networking seminar, co-hosted by University of Strathclyde. This one-day event is part of a series of networking seminars open to member organisations. The free seminars, hosted by our Vitae regional representatives and member organisations, aim to facilitate networking and practice-sharing among the staff based at Vitae member organisations.

Theme: Supporting resilience at different academic stages

The aim is to share and discuss practice around resilience at different academic stages. Speakers will share examples of existing practice to prompt discussion around emerging trends and challenges.

Vitae update and networking

Other benefits of attending this event include the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from across the region to discuss interests and priorities. Members of the Vitae team will be available to share updates on recent Vitae activities and to gather regional feedback to inform the Vitae membership programme for 2018/19. Please come along to meet us, share your thoughts and ask any questions.

Who should attend?

Participants may be the Vitae membership key contacts, or other individuals able to speak on behalf of their institution. We encourage attendance from a variety of job functions, including PVCs; Heads of graduate schools, Research Offices, or HR; Directors of CDTs; E&D champions, as membership is for everyone within the institution with an interest in developing researchers. Additional places are available for researcher developer staff from HEI member organisations to attend.
