SNI HR Excellence Practice-Sharing Event

This practice-sharing event will focus on attaining and retaining the HR Excellence award, and is aimed at all HEIs within the SNI region that have applied for the HR Excellence award, are working towards the two-year or four-year review, or are interested in gaining the award.

The process incorporates the QAA Code of Practice for Research Degree Programmes and the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, and enables institutions to gain the European Commission's ‘HR Excellence in Research' badge, thereby acknowledging alignment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.

Furthermore, the majority of HEIs that have gained the HR Excellence badge agree that the award process has contributed to achieving strategic goals and provided an impetus for change.
