Day 1 at 15:30 - In 2011 at the end of the period of ring-fenced funding and as part of the transition to the sustainability of researcher development, RCUK invited institutions to describe the institutional impact of the Roberts ring-fenced funding of researcher development and ongoing institutional strategies for researcher development. This workshop explored the critical aspects of the 2013 review with respect to the revised funding mechanisms for research staff and how researcher development was embedded in institutional strategies.
