UK Three Minute Thesis 3MT® 2018 finalists and their presentations
The Vitae Conference is the only dedicated event that brings together all those with a strategic and practical role in developing researchers. Last year's event saw over 400 participants, the largest number yet, from the UK and internationally, including pro-vice-chancellors, heads of faculty, heads of graduate schools, HR directors, careers advisors, staff developers and trainers. Participants at the conference will:
- explore the political context and instruments to attract and retain highly skilled researchers, and drive research excellence including the outcomes of the independent UK Concordat review
- enhance organisational capacity for innovative professional researcher development
- meet the future development needs of researchers for a wide range of careers in and beyond academia
- evidence the value of researchers and researcher development and their impact on research and innovation outputs, researcher careers, economic prosperity and society
The conference will feature the 2018 UK Final of the Three Minute Thesis Competition 3MT®, that challenges doctoral candidates to present their research and its significance in just three minutes.
