P10 - Working with Researchers - An Industry Perspective

As the outputs of the Knowledge Exchange Framework consultation come into public domain in 2019, the importance of Knowledge Exchange and working with external partners will be highlighted to a wider audience in Higher Education Institutions and we anticipate increased emphasis on build external partnerships. The ever important academia / industry interface will undoubtedly be a key element of this.

The benefits of academia and researchers working with industry are largely understood within the Higher Education arena but there is an opportunity to build on this by understanding the perceptions and benefits of researcher engagement from an industry perspective. 

Skillfluence have designed and delivered successful working with Industry training courses in collaboration with the Scottish Graduate School for Social Sciences and multiple other Universities.  Having undertaken research with 10 small to medium enterprises characterised as having high growth potential. This poster will offer primary research insight into the industry experience and benefits of working with researchers.
