| Abstract |
Whilst the majority of early researchers that we encounter in HE institutions start off on an academic career pathway, less than half of PhD graduates continue on this trajectory. This poster is designed to stimulate practitioners to consider 3 questions. Do we understand the possible drivers that are causing this shift from more conventional career pathways? Do we have a clear view of the training we should be providing for alternative employment strategies? Do we need to provide additional training for researchers seeking employment outside of academia? |
