Session outline:
This session follows a poster, presented at Vitae in 2018, where a concept for a series of pilot workshops titled ‘I’ve got a PhD, what now!’ was presented. These workshops were delivered within 5 Universities across the schools of Humanities, Business Studies and Health Sciences.
Supporting PhDs in transition is not an easy job. In collaboration with Sally Cleere from De Montfort University, Dr Danielle White is keen to discuss with you the challenges and support available across different Universities. The pilot will be used as an example to highlight possible responses to these challenges. Observations and feedback from these workshops will be shared; an evaluation summary is intended to provide a stimulus for how we might thoughtfully engage with our PGRs and ECR.
