Workshop overview: 

This workshop will provide an opportunity for administrative colleagues working to deliver successful researcher development programmes to come together for a roundtable discussion to explore shared challenges and opportunities in this area. The facilitators are experienced in administering researcher development programmes and associated initiatives for postgraduate researchers and research staff at Kent. Participants will be invited to share any current challenges for discussion in a supportive group setting and learn from good practice in operation at other institutions. Participants will also be invited to discuss potential ideas for how Vitae might work to unite and support those working to the deliver the administrative aspects of researcher development programmes in the future. Suzie and Helen will also share examples of opportunities which are currently arising for Kent as it moves through a University restructure involving the establishment of a new Graduate and Researcher College which will be the focal point for all researcher development activities within the institution.
