Vitae 3MT 2017: prizes and sponsors
About the 2017 Vitae Three Minute Thesis ® (3MT) competition:
- Semi-finalists submitted their entries on video. Judging took place during July and August
- The final was a live event, held at the 2017 Vitae Researcher Development International Conference on the 11th of September
- At the final a judges’ choice winner and a people’s choice winner were chosen.
The judges' choice winner received a £3K grant to spend on public engagement activity, sponsored by Research Councils UK (RCUK). This will be an excellent opportunity for the recipient to promote their research and to enhance their professional development. The winner also received £500 prize from RCUK to spend as she chooses.
The People’s Choice winner won the opportunity to present their talk in the famous Faraday Lecture Theatre in the Royal Institution of Great Britain in spring 2018 as part of a night of expert speakers sponsored by Speakezee.
